You’re a white guy. Today you’re going to eat a tuna
sandwich in your pickup truck and complain even though your life is actually
pretty okay. As a white guy, you enjoy
an institutional neutrality that most people, such as women and men who aren’t
visibly white, don’t enjoy. On the
downside, any of those people can justifiably make you feel guilty at any time
about something you have absolutely no real control over.
Life’s a mixed bag sometimes. Enjoy your sandwich.
